Dag Wilkinson serves as Strategic Advisor and Counsel to Phoenix, where he provides legal and strategic guidance on structuring joint ventures between landowners and homebuilders. With deep experience in real estate, corporate finance, and risk management, Dag plays a critical role in shaping homeowner-aligned development frameworks across Pacific Palisades.
His background includes serving as Chief Legal Officer of Capital Pacific Holdings, a $600 million publicly traded real estate company, where he oversaw legal strategy across multi-state residential development. He was previously a partner at Wiley Rein LLP in Washington, D.C., where he led the corporate practice, and held roles at Willkie Farr & Gallagher and his own boutique law firm.
Dag’s practice spans real estate development, finance, and hospitality, with a particular focus on structuring complex transactions involving joint ventures, capital partnerships, and land-use strategies. He also serves as General Counsel to the Building Industry Association (BIA) of Southern California, advising on matters critical to the homebuilding industry.
Dag holds a JD from Yale Law School, an MPA from Princeton University, and a BA, summa cum laude, from the University of Maryland.
